# Title: Laing Invert Pleat Pants - Pewter

## Description: Tailored trousers that go in the wash. The ones you'll actually wear. The Laing Inverted Pleat Trousers in Pewter are proper wide-leg trousers - not the pull-on kind. They close with an internal hook-and-bar and quality zip, sit at a flattering mid-high rise, and are cut from a polyester-rayon blend that drapes with the softness of something far more precious. Then you put them in the machine wash on cold and hang them up. Done. The inverted pleat is the detail worth understanding: unlike a standard pleat, it folds inward, creating elegant volume through the leg without adding bulk at the hip. It's a tailoring technique borrowed from menswear suiting - and it's why these trousers move so well and hold their shape across a full day of wearing. Pewter - a sophisticated grey, pairs beautifully with warm neutrals and cashmere knits, making it a versatile foundation piece for your autumn wardrobe. Worth knowing before you buy: The polyester-rayon blend is a deliberate choice - rayon gives the fluid drape, polyester gives the durability and easy care. The trouser that works as hard as you do - and looks better doing it. We have these in a range of sizes. Please select from the menu. The model is 5'10", size 8, wearing size small.
