A lofty quilted blanket embellished with floral tufted motifs and finished with playful, tassle fringing and a yarn dyed check reverse.

Like all their collections, the Marais Collection is inspired by a revival of trends from past eras that we love so dearly. The adventurous Isidore Tufted Blanket references this retro design aesthetic in a whimsical way with the addition of hand tufted floral embellishments in this season's lilac hue. Against a backdrop of a french-inspired rouge, this is a refreshing reinterpretation of artisanal techniques.

Finished with corded midnight blue fringing along all four edges, this blanket is decadent in every sense of the word. Accentuating the key colours of the season, the reverse side showcases this season's signature yarn dyed check.

With a light-weight cotton filling and quilted stitch detail, you'll find this to be an exceptionally soft and comfortable blanket to curl up with. Perfect for the end of the bed or sofa or use on a single bed as a coverlet.

It is 160 x 230cm

Rouge front, multicolour reverse
100% cotton

The Isidore Tufted Blanket is made in Panipat, a famous textile hub of India. To create the tufting, the yarn is inserted through the fabric using hand guided machines whilst simultaneously being cut to the desired length. With great precision and care, the tufted yarns slowly produce an eye-catching design.

For the check reverse, each coloured thread is hand-dyed, before being spun onto cones and woven into this statement pattern on a hand loom. Finished with tassle fringing that has been spun by hand.

Both shopaholics and globe trekkers, it’s easy to see how a fateful Christmas in India captivated their hearts. Taken in by the energetic streets, riotous colours and artisanal products, Sage and Clare was borne. Australian husband and wife duo, Chris and Phoebe had always been passionate about colour, texture and the sense that some objects have real heart. This became the crux of Sage and Clare and they started it with the aim of offering fellow interior lovers a place where they could find global treasures that are handmade, bohemian, soulful and eclectic. Serious about ethical practices, Phoebe and Chris spend months of every year overseas working side-by-side with weavers, block printers, and screen printers (to name a few) to bring Sage and Clare designs to life.
