Liquorice helps this tea gently cleanse the digestive system and prevents indigestion. It also serves as an anti-inflammatory and protects and settles the stomach lining to aid with digestion. Liquorice is beneficial to respiratory conditions including asthma, colds and coughs. It also aids in soothing symptoms during the menstrual cycle. The Roman legions used liquorice to help increase stamina and endurance, as well as for its water retention properties to help them survive longer without water. In Ayurvedic medicine (traditional Hindu medicine), liquorice is used alone and in combination with milk as a sexual tonic.

Peppermint aids digestion and soothes the stomach. It also reduces certain bacteria, as well as helping to relax the muscles and the mind. Peppermint helps to clear the airways and provides relief for breathing difficulties.

Fennel helps to reduce bloating and gas.

Basil aids with digestion and provides the body with magnesium and potassium.

Contains Liquorice

Storm & India's tea starts with their Mum, Dooley Crighton. In 2004 Dooley started growing and blending herbal teas. Dooley sampled teas across the world and discovered blends she’d never tasted before. She dreamed of creating bespoke teas from small organic tea plantations. She started this dream and named the tea after her daughters – Storm & India. From their Mum’s notebooks and recipes, they've created their own blends of bespoke teas. They use premium, organic teas from around the world. These are handpicked, handcrafted and deliciously artisanal. Storm & India's teas bring peace, calm and joy into life. They rejuvenate the body and mind, and promote good health and wellbeing. We like to think they’re a daily ritual, brewed for the soul.
