Eva Solo is a Danish design company with over a century of heritage. Founded in 1913 and named after the founder's daughter Eva, the company is now run by Jan Engelbrecht, the fourth generation of the founder's family. From their first hit product, a bread and meat slicing machine released in 1952, Eva Solo has consistently reflected the evolution of the modern home. When open-plan kitchens took off in the 1970s, Eva Solo was one of the first to make kitchen pieces stylish enough to leave on display, a philosophy that still runs through the brand today. Famous for iconic products like the Café Solo coffee maker (which prompted the brand to officially rename from Eva to Eva Solo in 2010), the company has grown into an internationally loved Danish design house. Based just outside Copenhagen, Eva Solo creates homewares and kitchen essentials that combine beautiful Scandinavian aesthetics with clever, lasting functionality.
