Rolla's was founded in Melbourne in 2012 by Sarah Gilsenan and Andy Paltos, two friends who shared an admiration for the now-defunct Australian denim label Faberge and a love of warm, vintage-inspired jeans. Sarah grew up in the industry as the daughter of a dressmaker, while Andy fell in love with vintage denim through 1960s classic cars and a habit of collecting old jeans and jackets, customising what didn't quite fit. That fit-first instinct still shapes every Rolla's piece today. The brand is all about keeping it simple - clean lines, classic details, signature back pockets, and the best fabrics to give every pair the ultimate fit and feel. Rolla's uses premium denim with organic or recycled yarns where possible, and their laundry (the same one Faberge used) reduces harmful chemicals and recycles water as part of their move toward a more sustainable way of making jeans.
