Kinto is a Japanese design company established in 1972 in Shiga, Japan, founded by Hideo Koide as a wholesaler of porcelain and ceramic tableware. A family-owned business to this day, Kinto is now proudly run by the sons of founder Hideo, who carry forward the company's Japanese legacy while continuously developing new, thoughtful pieces. Since 2010, Kinto has exported worldwide, with offices in Europe and the USA. The brand develops original and customised products that balance usability and aesthetics, from beautifully crafted coffee drippers, teapots, and drinkware to tableware and interior accessories.
