Pappelina
Pappelina specializes in creating machine-washable plastic mats for both indoor and outdoor use. These vibrant mats feature contemporary designs and durable materials, woven into rugs of various sizes. The technique of weaving plastic carpets originated in Sweden in 1948 and was later modernized by Pappelina, beginning production in 1999. They continually enhance the original process with new forms, colours, and materials. The weaving is carried out on traditional looms, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship synonymous with Sweden. Founded by designer Lina Rickardsson, Pappelina's products are produced in collaboration with Kim Fröyen's traditional weaving mill located in the province of Dalarna, in central Sweden.
