Their products are inspired by the imagination of childhood and rooted in sophisticated design. Meri Meri started in 1985 when Meredithe, also known as Meri Meri, began making cards at her kitchen table in Los Angeles. Her handmade cards, adorned with glitter and created with scissors and pens, gained popularity among local stationery stores. Encouraged by the positive response, Meredithe presented her range of cards at the National Stationery Show in New York in 1987, where they received an overwhelming reception. As the demand for her products grew, Meri Meri expanded from a network of stay-at-home moms working from their kitchen tables to a company operating out of a 400-year-old building in Cheltenham, a town located an hour west of London. In addition to its handmade cards, the company now offers couture-quality dress-up items and a range of sustainable partyware. By combining quality craftsmanship with innovative and eco-friendly designs, Meri Meri continues to captivate parents and children alike, making every celebration a truly special and memorable occasion.
