Milligram was launched in October 2007 by friends Scott Druce and Matt Harris, who shared a love of beautifully designed stationery and the finer things in life. What started as the online retailer NoteMaker grew into Milligram in 2017, after a decade of curating the best pens, paper and desk tools from around the world. That same year, they launched their own in-house brand, Studio Milligram, built around a philosophy called "measured design", unobtrusive, minimal choices that lead to simple, timeless beauty in both form and function. Based in Melbourne, the Studio Milligram range spans notebooks, pens, desk organisers, bookends, planters and thoughtful homewares, all designed to work quietly and beautifully in everyday life.
