Poolbeanies is a Wellington-based New Zealand brand designing cool, characterful swim caps for little swimmers. The company is run by two friends, Miae Kang and Kylie Clayton, who dreamed up Poolbeanies while trying to find swim caps for their own kids that weren't, well, boring. Together they make an unbeatable team. Miae brings a background in art and design and works in visual effects on award-winning blockbuster films, leading the look and design of every cap. Poolbeanies swim caps are designed specifically for smaller swimmers, with purpose-made silicone that's durable, lightweight and has just the right amount of stretch for a comfortable lesson, plus fun lycra options for a softer feel.
