The Almonte floor rug is a super thick, soft and luxurious floor rug. It features a sophisticated hand-woven loom knotted design with a lustrous patina. The softness underfoot comes from the wool and bamboo silk blend. Due to the subtlety in the colours, this floor rug is best suited to low-traffic areas such as bedrooms, nurseries and sitting rooms. This is a beautiful rug to add texture and interest, as well as warmth and comfort, to a room. It consists of 70% bamboo silk and 30% wool blend and features a full woven cotton backing and braided cotton edging for improved longevity and wear.
This rug is skillfully loom knotted by hand by artisans, whose communities are supported through the manufacturer's membership with Care and Fair.

We recommend regularly rotating your rug to ensure even wear. Do not spot clean or use liquid cleaners (including water) on viscose rugs. Blot spills immediately with a paper towel or colourless cloth. Do not scrub rugs as it may cause permanent pile damage. Use professional rug cleaners only for dry cleaning service. Vacuum regularly with low suction power in one direction. Avoid direct sunlight. Shedding of fibres from new rugs is to be expected and will reduce with time.

Within 5 days of receiving your parcel, email us online@teapea.co.nz for a return authority. Goods will not be accepted back without this confirmation.
Step 2
Within 7 days, return the item via courier to our HQ address; 35A Box Hill, Khandallah, Wellington 6035. Or drop back into one of our stores in new condition with all tags still attached.

We can hold a different size for an exchange until your item is received.

Store credit will be processed in store immediately. Refunds will be 1-2 days to process.
A courier fee of $7 urban or $14 rural will be charged to send your new size.
If refunded, the refund amount does not include shipping.
