Lisbon is an amazing rug. Super thick underfoot, it combines the robustness of multi ply, twisted jute yarn with the softness of wool, in an alternating loop pile stripe. It is perfect for the classic, contemporary coastal New Zealand lifestyle.
Made of 50% Wool and 50% Jute, the Lisbon features full cotton backing and edging for improved longevity and wear. The result is a hard-wearing floor rug that can be used anywhere in your home that you are wanting to add textural and visual interest.
This rug is skillfully loom knotted by hand by artisans, whose communities are supported through the manufacturer's membership with Care and Fair.
We recommend treating spots and spills immediately with warm water and paper towel. If the stain persists, contact a professional rug cleaner as soon as possible. Do not scrub rugs as it may cause permanent pile damage. Vacuum regularly with low suction power. Avoid direct sunlight. Regularly rotate your rug to ensure even wear. Use professional rug cleaners only. Shedding of fibres from new rugs is to be expected and will reduce with time.

We pack every order with care - checking, wrapping, and securing each item before it leaves us. If something arrives damaged, faulty, or isn’t what you ordered, just let us know within five days of delivery (ten days for orders placed between December 20–31), and we’ll send you a replacement or refund.
Should you simply change your mind, you’re welcome to return full-price items for an exchange or store credit. Once we receive your returned item (you’ll need to cover the $7 return courier fee), we’ll dispatch your replacement or issue credit. Please note that sale or discounted goods are final sale and not eligible for return.
