Christmas Conversations: Sophie: Belinda Cannon

 Who are you going to be spending Christmas with this year and where?
Christmas will be with my husband & children (Sophie & Henry) at home in the morning. And then we'll join my sister & her family at my parents. We have a small immediate family - beach & delicious food will be enjoyed. It's a relaxed day with lots of laughs, always.

Does your family have Christmas traditions?
What are they? We all go & choose a fresh Christmas tree together in December & do a secret Santa too. We've been doing it since the kids were little & the presents remain kind of random! It's fun. It's actually my birthday on Christmas Day too. So we always have a birthday celebration part to the day!

The main Christmas meal, is this through the day or in the evening? What do you hope will be on the menu?
Our main meal is usually late afternoon. We'll have salmon, whitebait fritters & salads for sure. Probably turkey & maybe ham too. And I always hope Mum does meringues, they're a favourite.

What’s your top pick as a Sophie gift this year?
Ooh, that's tricky! We have so many gift options. I think our new Love Lily studs will be nice - they're delicate & timeless too.

And what are you hoping is wrapped under the tree for with your name on it?
I'm in to gift cards & handwritten notes from the kids & my husband on a meaningful & carefully chosen card are what I love. I love new sleepwear at this time of year, so maybe some pyjamas?
