Klippan Yllefabrik has been weaving woollen blankets from their home in Klippan, Skåne, since 1879 - when spinning master Jöns Petter Magnusson took over a small wool mill on Järnvägsgatan and, alongside his wife Matilda, built something that would outlast them both. Now in its fourth and fifth generation, the family business remains at the very same address, still guided by the same commitment to natural materials, exceptional quality and considered design that started it all more than 140 years ago. Today, Klippan Yllefabrik operates as two companies - product development, distribution and marketing in Klippan, and manufacturing at their own factory, Klippan Saule, in Riga, Latvia. Every step, from the purchase of raw materials to the finished throw, happens in-house. That kind of full traceability is rare, and it shows in every piece they make.
