Relaxound

Relaxound was founded in 2013 in Hamburg by Philipp Storring and Dennis Clasen, with an idea that started in medical practices and ended up bringing a little nature into homes around the world. The pair set out to develop premium audio concepts for everyday medical use, convinced that the targeted use of sound helps patients move through treatment in a more relaxed way. Out of that came their first creation - a chic little box that chirps when you walk past it. The Zwitscherbox was originally designed for waiting rooms, but it took people's hearts by storm and quickly found its way into private homes too. Today Relaxound (now based in Berlin) has expanded the range to include a whole family of sound boxes, from forest birds and ocean waves to jungle atmospheres, with all wooden housings sourced locally from a production company in Thuringia, Germany.
